Ephrem Mudenge is a dedicated and results-driven professional with a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the National University of Rwanda. With extensive experience in gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), and men’s engagement, Ephrem has consistently demonstrated a commitment to empowering women and promoting gender equity in diverse communities.

Ephrem has held multiple leadership roles, including as District Coordinator at Ventures Strategies Innovation (VSI) and the Ministry of Health, where they coordinated SRHR activities, including family planning and post-abortion care at District Hospitals and Health Centers. In his role as Field Coordinator with Rwanda Men’s Resource Center (RWAMREC), Ephrem led initiatives under the Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Program (GEWEP) , and the Indashyikirwa Agents of Change using transformative models such as Journey of Transformation (JOT) and SASA.

As the Coordinator for the Men’s Engage Program, Ephrem has championed gender equity by working with men and boys to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment (GEWE). Their approach empowers men to become advocates for gender equality, acting as role models and trainers within their communities. And through advocacy efforts, Ephrem successfully engaged policymakers and leaders to foster women's participation in decision-making and socio-economic activities.

Fluent in Kinyarwanda, French, and English, with a foundational understanding of Kiswahili, he is a skilled communicator and team leader with a proven ability to organize, prioritize, and drive impactful change.
