Albert UWAYO joined Women for Women Rwanda (WfW-Rwanda) in July 2024 as a Programme and Grants Coordinator. He holds a master’s degree in Development Studies, is PMP® certified, and brings over 15 years of experience in programme management, organisational leadership, and capacity building.
Albert has worked with international and national organizations throughout his career, excelling in programme design, stakeholder engagement, and team empowerment. He has a proven track record of managing impactful programmes and driving sustainable impact. Albert has extensive experience with programmes funded by various donors, including USAID and the World Bank, successfully aligning organisational goals with donor requirements. His experience also includes scaling operations and leading development initiatives across East and West Africa, focusing on innovative and adaptable solutions.
A passionate advocate for education, economic development, and gender equality, Albert firmly believes that education can create meaningful and lasting change.
