Mbasini Sagnia is originally from The Gambia but has lived in six African countries, shaping her broad international perspective. She is a recent graduate of The College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Her most recent role was an Analyst Intern at SouthBridge, Kigali where she conducted research, supported investor relations, and helped develop commercial business documents. While working on an affordable housing mandate, she became increasingly interested in contributing to and developing her communities.

Her background also includes operations management, having served as a Student Manager of Residential Operations, where she oversaw staff training, policy implementation, and logistical coordination. Additionally, during her internship at the Bank of Africa, she worked across operations and human resources, assisting with international transactions and administrative processes.

Mbasini joined Women for Women Rwanda in February 2025 as a Program & Business Development Intern, and she is pursuing an Executive MBA at the African Leadership University, specializing in AI and data science.
